Hudak House Fire
The Hudak family is in need of support! Early Tuesday morning, a house fire broke out and has destroyed the Hudak family home. Thanks to functioning smoke detectors, a neighbor, and a passerby on their way to work, Bill & Cecilia were able to get out of the house and save their dogs and pet bird in the process. There is so much to be thankful for and so much more that could have been lost. But the damage is extensive. Between the fire, the smoke, and the water from extinguishing the flames, they have a long road ahead.
If you know Bill & Cecilia, they're the most generous, loving, hard-working, and down-to-earth people you'll ever meet. They have given so much in their lives, from raising a large family, to hosting youth group meetings, to being there for moral support and "kitchen table counseling" for anyone who needs it.
The Hudaks built their home with love and lots of hard work and have always been thankful for everything they have, but it's time to rally together to help them get through this extraordinary loss. We can all admit that 2020 has been a challenging year all around, and this is a giant hurdle to overcome in an already tough time.
We are so thankful to anyone who can find it in their heart to support these incredible people and are thankful for all the love and prayers that have already been sent their way. They are in need of monetary help to get back on their feet. They left their burning home with the shirts on their backs and now need to start from scratch.
Be sure to say "I love you" to the special people in your life and cherish as many moments as you can. Life can change with the flicker of a flame...
