Huda’s Ramadan Initiative: Restoring a Mosque for Iftar
Donation protected
As the sacred month of Ramadan approaches, our dear sister Huda is leading a community initiative to ensure that fasting families have the special Iftar meal they need to break their fast and that the local mosque—a place of worship and refuge—can properly serve those who gather there.
This effort is about more than just providing food. It is about reviving a space of faith, unity, and hope in a time of immense hardship.
A Community in Need
Huda’s community gathers in a mosque that is in dire need of restoration and basic essentials to serve worshippers during Ramadan and beyond. Right now, the mosque is lacking:
A proper door and window bars – To provide security and protection.
Prayer rugs – So worshippers can pray comfortably.
A functional bathroom – To allow proper cleanliness and ablution before prayers.
A loudspeaker – To call people to prayer and bring the community together.
At the same time, families struggling through hardship do not have the means to prepare Iftar, the meal that breaks the fast at sunset. With your help, we can provide these meals to those in need and ensure that Ramadan remains a time of faith, community, and generosity, even in the most difficult of circumstances.
How Your Donation Will Help
✅ Provide warm Iftar meals for fasting families.
✅ Restore the mosque by supplying essential items like prayer rugs, a door, a bathroom, and a loudspeaker.
✅ Support a community in faith and resilience by strengthening their space of worship.
A Call to Action for This Sacred Time
