Anthony's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Anthony Gasso, I am currently a Life Scout with Troop 125, and I'm raising funds to help with my Eagle Scout Project at Discovery Key Elementary School. Currently, the school has a dilapidated fence and an overgrown area with debris. My Eagle Scout Project is to fix the fence and build 6 planter boxes. Each of the boxes will be 8 feet by 4 feet. This project will allow the teachers to add a curriculum on agriculture and utilize hands on learning.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who donated money and/or time to accomplish this amazing project! It is completed!! The volunteers are amazing! The entire area was cleaned and garbage removed. The 6 planter boxes were installed, along with 6 yards of soil. Instead of repairing the dilapidated fence, it was replaced with a new one! The School is very appreciative & it’s great to see the kids benefiting.

It couldn’t have been done without everyone’s help. It takes a Village!
