Huge cat colony needs your help!

My name is Juria, I am one of the few individuals who are trying to help a huge cat colony near Koko Head/Hawaii Kai area after a saddening passing of an amazing colony caretaker. His name was Ron, he was feeding about 200 cats daily from the kindness of his heart, paying everything out of pocket to provide for these fur babies. Now that he is no longer with us, few of us have stepped up to take over with feeding, but considering the costs of providing food/medical care/supplies are way too much for us to be able to cover especially in the long run (For now, Ron's wife is willing to donate money to cover for the food, but we need to be prepared for if and when things change) Many people question why we keep providing food for these cats or say to just let them hunt, but without people feeding, they will start migrating to the residential areas and will cause tons more trouble, making it extremely difficult to manage (Trap, Neuter and Release) Once we get everything in line, we will focus on TNRing to contain the population as much as we possibly can. On average, we are looking at about $65 per feeding to provide for these kitties ( we will only be feeding PM) $2,500 will help provide a little over a month's worth of food and/or help cover for a vet cost if any cats require medical attention.
