Hughes mOTIvation Army
Donation protected
In July 2022, the Hughes family received the unbearable news that their incredible little boy, Otis, has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML).
Oti was just 17 months old at the time of diagnosis, but is battling against AML with the determination and bravery of a true superhero.
After successfully fundraising by receiving donations as the mOTIvation army covered the distance from Sydney to Cambridge (17,000km) we have a new challenge lined up…
Runners Of The World For Oti (ROTWFO)
On Saturday 10th December 8am, runners across the globe will set off at the same time to challenge themselves, have fun and support Oti and his incredible family.
We have runners across the UK from Liverpool, London & Saffron Waldron, The Netherlands, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia and more!
People are walking or running 5K’s to marathons, solo or as a group.
The total distance covered by ROTWFO will be added to the already smashed target of the distance from Sydney to Cambridge by the Hughes mOTIvational Army since Oti started treatment.
Thanks for your support and donations!
The money raised is going towards The Dear Toby Trust; contributing to finding new ways to treat rare cancers and reduce the suffering of children enduring treatment, as well as towards funding the refurbishment of the Paediatric Oncology parents room on the ward where Oti is being treated at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge
