Become a Friend of Huguenot's Butterfly Garden
Tax deductible
The Public Trust Environmental Legal Institute is working all year round to protect and enhance NE Florida's natural resources. In December, we will be installing 100 trees at Huguenot Memorial Park. Along with the tree planting, we are also installing a custom designed butterfly garden to be planted near the campground.
The garden (pictured above) will be used to showcase over 20 Florida native plant species, focusing on those common to coastal habitats in Northeast Florida. The garden will be utilized by Huguenot Park's Nature Center to educate park visitors- showcasing native plants and pollinators' ecological significance.
Your donations will match a $2500 gift from the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Fund for the flowers, soil, mulch, and irrigation system for the Garden. Each person donating at least $100 will be recognized as a friend of the Huguenot Butterfly Garden at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
