The Humain Chain is Back.Now is time to hold hands and help Beirut rise again. #HumanchainforBeirut
In the aftermath of the Beirut Blast which “tore through the city, flipping cars, shattering glass and causing some homes to crumble (CNN)”, we, believe that this is the time for an international human chain, connecting one another no matter where you are in the world with one goal: help our fellow Lebanese “even as hospitals were destroyed and staff members killed, doctors and nurses raced to help (NYTimes)”
With our money (in US Dollars) stuck in the banks and the massive inflation, we can only rely on international donations to provide as much relief as possible for stranded families, the homeless, as well as volunteers.
We are creating this fundraiser to provide emergency assistance as we operate on the ground to cover the costs of rebuilding:
-People’s homes
-Small and Medium Businesses wiped out by the blast
-Cleaning supplies used by the volunteers
Moreover we will contribute to local NGOS
All the updates will be shared on that page and our social media channels since our strategy is to be fully transparent. We will post the name of the suppliers we are collaborating with and the receipts on :
@humanchainlebanon on Facebook and Instagram
Any amount can help.
Let’s make it our biggest virtual human chain yet!
