Humane Society of Greater Kansas City

Hey all!
I'm raising money to benefit the Humane Society of Greater KC, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me!

As you can imagine, it's been a tough year for fundraising efforts as events have been cancelled and normal funding has been cut from local municipalities and regular donors.  HSGKC has served the community for over 100 years- they offer low cost veterinary care and education to the surrounding Kansas City area. The organization has been a no kill shelter since 1994 and places hundreds of animals in loving homes each year.  It takes funding and support to continue to provide these services. I'd like to show up for the Humane Society during this crazy time as they have for our community for the past century (!) 

This is also a personal cause for me- my sister, Meagan Parks, has recently taken a leadership role at the HSGKC.  Meagan has dedicated her life to the care of animals with over 15 years in the veterinary world.  She has worked in private practice, owned her own business, and is now in the nonprofit space. 
I couldn't be prouder of the leadership she's displayed over the last few months since taking on her new role. Staying true to her genetics- she's making waves everywhere she goes-everything from pushing for capital improvements to the building to providing support to the dedicated staff. Sometimes it just takes one person- "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better" You're doing it Meg! I love you! 

I could post pictures of cute pups and kittens- but I'm going to post this picture of Meagan with a goat from our childhood because that's way more embarrassing. She's probably about 5 here.
