Humanistic Kindness R&D

We have made our home into a place where humanity's needs are explored and tended to. We look for ways of bringing into the world better communication, conflict resolution, warmth, meaningful art, appreciation of nature and critical thinking.

Moving towards ways of using our lives for the benefit of everyone has often meant moving away from easier ways of making money. We're raising money to be able to keep our house, which provides us with the necessary space to create works and ideas that bring kindness, caring and vitality into the world.

The foreclosure sale for our house is October 6th, 2020. The more money we raise, the more options we'll have for staying in our house and continuing our humanistic research and development here.

If you have a few bucks for our cause, thank you so much -- we're forever grateful! If you can donate more than a few bucks, we'd like to reciprocate with the following gifts:

$50 - 199 = A consultation with Marshall on how to respond in writing to a difficult situation with someone in your life -- OR -- A consultation with Liz on finding the right houseplants for your home (goals, light conditions, plant care, pet safety and budget)

$200 - 399 = A portrait by Liz of your beloved houseplant, pet, stuffed animal, or whole family (mixed media or cute cartoon) -- OR -- Two hours of individual or couples  coaching with Marshall

$400 - 999 = One year of Liz's houseplant CSA delivered to your door once a month (Minneapolis/St. Paul metro only) -- OR -- 12 weekly sessions of couples coaching or individual emotional health coaching with Marshall

$1,000 and up = A workshop for your group led by Marshall on better communication, conflict resolution and restorative policies
