Humanitarian Appeal: Help Salama and His Family Survive

Hello, my name is Salama, a twelve-year-old boy from Gaza. Our lives were once filled with hope and aspirations, but war turned everything upside down.

Life-Altering Day:

On one dark day, our home, once a safe haven for me and my family, was shaken by a massive explosion. The bombardment targeted a neighboring house, causing severe damage to ours and forcing us to evacuate immediately. Those moments were terrifying as we tried to escape safely, watching our homes crumble before our eyes.

Life After Evacuation:

We now live in extremely difficult conditions. We are homeless, lacking food and medicine, and struggling to access clean water. Hospitals are destroyed, and we cannot obtain necessary medical care. Schools are closed, which means my siblings and I can no longer attend and receive an education. Every day, I wake up early to gather firewood and sell simple items on a street stall, trying to secure some food for my family. Life has become a constant struggle, and we desperately need help.

Daily Struggles:

My family now depends on me to provide the basics. Every day presents a new challenge in finding food, water, and medicine. In these dark moments, I remember my dreams of becoming a doctor to help my community and provide assistance. Instead, I find myself forced to leave school and work on the streets to feed my younger siblings. Life has become a relentless fight, and we urgently need assistance.

Why We Need Your Help:

War has left us with no choice but to rely on the support of others. We urgently need to secure:

- Food and Medicine to ensure our health and safety.

- Clean Water to live with dignity.

- Travel Costs to a Safe Place that offers a dignified and stable life away from the horrors of war.

The travel costs will include my father, Muhammad, my mother, my older sister, Lana, myself, my younger brother, Abdul Rahman, my younger brother, Naseem, and my younger sister, Lina. The travel cost for my father, mother, and sister Lana is 5,000 per person, and their total cost is 15,000.

Me and my brothers Abdul Rahman, Nassim and Lina. The cost per person is 3,500 thousand, meaning a total of 14 thousand. The remaining 6,000 are food, and rent for an apartment for two months in a safe place.
