I am Hala Omar, a dedicated doctor currently residing in Gaza, a region that has tragically become a battleground, subjecting families like mine to unimaginable hardships. In the midst of this conflict and the growing threat to our lives, I am reaching out for your support.

About Me:

have devoted my life to the field of medicine, working tirelessly to provide care to those in need. However, in the midst of the harsh reality in Gaza, my ability to carry out my medical duties is crippled not only by critical shortages in essential supplies but also by the pervasive fear for my own survival. Despite these challenges, I continue to serve at a hospital in western Rafah, where I provide crucial assistance to people injured because of the war. Every day, I confront the dire consequences of conflict, striving to heal wounds and save lives under extraordinarily difficult conditions.

Our family, finds itself entangled in the intricate threads of the Gaza crisis. At the heart of it all is my mother, a pillar of strength whose unwavering love has held us together through the storm.

Beside her stands my sister Sahar, a single mother, trying to navigate the challenges imposed by circumstances beyond our control.

Salma, our little joy, lights up our days with laughter and smiles. She's not just a niece; she's a bundle of happiness and in her, we find a source of hope to keep us going.

My brother Alaa and I face the hurdles thrown our way by finding strength in our family ties.

The Urgency:

Gaza is currently facing a dire humanitarian crisis, and the escalating conflict has made it urgent for us to seek refuge in a safer country. The path to safety involves significant financial hurdles, including evacuation fees and the initial costs of establishing a new life in a secure environment.

Why I Need Your Help:

I am seeking your support to raise funds for the evacuation fees and the subsequent relocation of my family to a place where we can rebuild our lives without the constant threat of violence. Your contribution will not only safeguard our well-being but will also enable me to continue my medical specialization, contributing to the global healthcare community.

Information regarding donations:

1. Evacuation Fee/Egyptian Coordination: 5,000€ per person for a total of 25,000€ (5 persons), accounting for current evacuation fees and coordination expenses at the Egyptian border.

2. Transportation to Rafah Crossing: 1,500€, with an additional 500€ allocated to accommodate challenging conditions and potential fuel scarcity in Gaza.

3. GoFundMe Fee: 1,500€, approximately 2.9% of each donation, covering the platform’s fee.

4. The money will go to my second brother Mohamed (who lives in Germany), so he can send us the donations.
