Humanitarian Relief in Israel

Donation protected
On October 7, Israel experienced a brutal terrorist attack that crushed the joy of the Simchat Torah holiday. Hamas members carried out the bloodiest attack in Israel's history, and the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust. Horrific acts of unspeakable brutality and violence were committed. More than 1,400 people - men and women, children and infants, and elderly - were brutally murdered in cold blood. Some of the dead have yet to be identified still. More than 3,000 were wounded. More than 200 men, women, children, and infants were kidnapped and taken into Gaza as hostages.

Millions of lives have been affected. Families and communities have been torn apart. They are deeply traumatized and grieving. Homes have been burned and destroyed. People have been displaced and left with nothing. They desperately need all the help that we can provide.

The funds collected here will be distributed among trusted counterparts and organizations working on the ground in Israel, to be used for these 6 focuses:

-Basic necessities - food, clothing (especially warm clothing for the cold rainy weather), hygiene items including soap and toothbrushes, and baby care items including food and diapers - for families who have been displaced from their homes and had their homes and belongings destroyed.

-Emergency medical equipment and supplies for medical personnel.

-Psycho-social support from trained counselors/psychologists/etc, for those who are traumatized and suffering from PTSD. The mental trauma from these atrocities runs deep, and emotional and psychological support is crucial.

-Games and toys to bring joy to children and help ease some of the mental and emotional burden.

-Medical care: One of our counterparts is associated with Shevet Achim, a medical NGO that has been working in Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank since 1994, living out the command to "love your neighbor" by bringing children from Gaza and the West Bank to hospitals in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv for life-saving heart surgery. There are 6 children and their adult guardians/escorts (4 mothers and 2 grandmothers) who were undergoing heart treatment in Israel when "Black Shabbat" happened on October 7, and with the border between Israel and Gaza now closed indefinitely, they are unable to return home. They are currently being sheltered and cared for by reputable Israeli NGO's, who will provide food, lodging, and care for them until whenever they are able to return home. A portion of these funds will be used for their food and care during this time.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes an impact. Your generosity will help to provide physical comfort, as well as a powerful reminder of support and a message that they are seen, not forgotten, and not alone.

Thank you for your support! Pray for Peace!
