Humanitarian support for LEMI team in Ukraine
Donation protected
I am Kurt Strack and we have a team of 30 engineers in Lviv, Ukraine developing scientific instruments (space and geophysical research). They are dedicated and do not want to leave Ukraine. All of them work in collaboration with a Ukrainian Academy of Sciences Institute and are proud of their work.
They have young families and older parents. Our concern is:
1: Helping their families to immediately get to safety and find protected space and maybe a temporary home.
2: Supporting them to continue their work in Ukraine - if possible.
3: Relocating them to the West where they can continue their work as a team (if the situation gets worse)
4: If the situation gets really bad find a home for them and their families in the West.
5: If the situation gets slowly resolved, help to build up their work and family environment.
All funds will be used for humanitarian assistance only as we consider the team capable to maintain their own professional support.
The Laboratory of Electromagnetic Innovations (LEMI) was founded in 2008 and then became a joint venture with KMS Technologies to focus on the development and production of high-quality electromagnetic (EM) sensors for the geophysical industry. LEMI is located in Lviv, Ukraine. They reinvest their earnings in maintaining the group and continue their developments.
