Hi, my name is Fernanda Durán, I'm a 26y/o Mexican and today I'm asking for your help to pay my dad's medical bills and take him home for his treatment.

On the 24th of April, 2023, he had a stroke and major heart failure, he's been living and working in the USA for the last 20 years undocumented to support his family. He's very sick right now, and because his migratory status, neither me or my mom have a visa.

It's well known how elevated medical bills are in the US, and he doesn't have insurance (again, because of his migratory status).

I love my dad so very much, but salaries in Mexico are really low, so I don't have the money to pay for these services and to move him from one country to another. The air ambulance fee is $70,000USD, which roughly translates to $1,400,000 Mexican pesos, which is a crazy amount of money for someone who earns less than $300,000 Mexican pesos a year.

Besides that amount of money, I still don't know how much we're going to pay in hospital bills, but I'm assuming is also an alarming amount of money that I do not have.

Please help in this terrible situation and bring him home where I can actually take care of him. I haven't seen him since I was seven years old, but I talk to him everyday, I owe him everything I am and I want to hug him again and return a little of every single thing he's done for me.
