More information about Humor Beats Cancer Inc.: Our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization creates a community for those facing cancer in their 20s, 30s and 40s through the sharing of funny stories from their cancer journeys on our blog and at our events; giving young adults (in 20s, 30s and 40s) care packages when they're facing tough times during treatment; and awarding them mini one-time grants to help pay medical bills.

Here are a few testimonials from young adult cancer patients who received our care packages:

“I was so surprised by the care package I received in the mail from Humor Beats Cancer. I received it a few weeks into my chemo treatments, and everything was still very new. Receiving a care package of helpful goodies helped me feel less alone and that someone was thinking of me!”

”I received a gift package via Humor Beats Cancer and I’m very grateful. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in October 2018. I felt very alone especially being in my 20s and facing cancer. This organization not only lifted my spirits by sending me ‘happy mail’ — they connected me to other young people battling cancer. This helped me to see I’m not alone.”

“What’s so great about the Humor Beats Cancer community is, not only do I get to learn about other young cancer patients and survivors’ stories, but I get it in their own words. Unfiltered...the good, bad and the funny. That’s what makes it so relatable; and I believe what sets Humor Beats Cancer apart from some of the other online communities out there. I was recently honored during their ‘24 Days of Christmas’ project and received a wonderful gift package filled with goodies to soothe my soul during treatment. I can’t tell you how much it means to receive care packages when going through chemotherapy. Ask any cancer survivor and they’ll tell you the same. Kudos to Humor Beats Cancer for what they do to brighten the lives of those of us fighting every day.”
