Hunger for Justice: Gaza

To highlight the humanitarian catastrophe that is now being visited upon innocent Palestinian civilians in Gaza, we at the Nenagh Friends of Palestine, with Cloughjordan Palestine Justice and the North Tipperary branch of the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign are undertaking the “Hunger for Justice: Gaza” campaign.

Working with Kerry IPSC, Killorglin For Palestine and our Belfast and Mayo colleagues, this rolling 24-hour fast (which started on April 15th 2024) continues, where our volunteers refrain from eating any food or drink on that day (bar water).

Each day, a new volunteer takes up the fast. The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the starvation suffered by Gazan due to the Israeli blockade of food and water.

Our GoFundMe page also allows you, the patron, to contribute to the campaign by donating whatever you can afford. All funds raised will go to the charity, UNRWA, and local initiatives to send aid directly to Gaza. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to visit our page and thank you for whatever you can give.
