Hunter Bledsoe's Quality Food Mission
Donation protected
I am Hunter Bledsoe, a sophomore in high school. Every year, since 7th grade, I have been contributing to our school's food drive for the community. Food insecurity has been a vital concern for me, especially with the increase in food prices for necessities. While the cost of food is significant, the quality of the food is of the utmost importance to me. I would never buy something I wouldn't want to eat myself, even if it is more expensive. We try to be well-informed of the best prices by doing research, going to various stores, and comparing the cost and brands to seek out the best deals. Last year, we were able to raise $1,000 and buy 1,900 food products for our local food bank. These products included everything from pancakes and syrup to spaghetti and pasta sauce. With the help of donations, we hope to buy 2,500 quality food products for those in need within our community.
