Hunter heart trip to Boston
Donation protected
Our son Hunter was born with multiple congenital heart defects. He sufferers from a rare condition called pulmonary vein stenosis. In 2015 we were given less than a 5% of him surviving. Boston will do a heart catheterization to address his pulmonary veins and his mitral valve. If the mitral valve is unable to be ballooned in the cath lab it will require us to replace his mitral valve, which would consist of his 4th open heart surgery. We know that if we are able to do this in the cath lab in the future he will still require a new mitral valve. With insurance not covering we will have extra costs. Without the life saving care we received in Boston in 2015 Hunter would not be here today. We are so very thankful for each one of you
