The Herrington family suffered the unimaginable loss of their son Hunter on July 3rd. They are a beloved family in our community and I think we were all heartbroken to hear what they have been through.
The Herrington’s have decided to honor their sweet boy by establishing the Hunter Homer Herrington or “Triple H” scholarship fund to give to GCS graduates for years to come!
They plan to include the information in his obituary but since we are all reachable via email I also set up a GoFundMe for us all to donate to. They prefer that this option not be shared beyond GCSD staff. So the GoFundMe is only to be used to collect amongst staff members (please do not post on social media).
