Hunter McKee

Hi my name is Jamie and I'm fundraising for my little brother. The first of September 2021, Hunter caught COVID. My brother was sent to the hospital blue and gasping for air on September 21, 2021.  He has 30% loss of lung function and heart damage. His heart rate keeps jumping to 200 and above. He is on homebound and can't do anything without being short of breath. He is unable to play baseball, go hunting or fishing, all of the things he loves to do, he can no longer due. My mom has to take him to Texas children's hospital every Monday and Wednesday for heart and lung therapy, which is over two hour drive one way from our home. He's tired and sleeps all the time, he's very swollen and puffy, and always wheezing. This has really taken a toll on Hunter and my family. His cardiologist, neurologist, pulmonologist say this could last forever or he could start getting better in a year. No one knows for sure. My mom lost her job, because she was having to take off so much with my brother. I know I'm asking alot from family and friends and people I don't know, but if your able to help please do. This is not hunters fault or even my family's fault and I hate the suffering he's going through. He has already had one surgery, and the doctors are talking about heart surgery.
