In Feb 2021, Huong was given an unpredictable diagnosis. She has been undergoing chemotherapy in Melbourne and is about to have a Bone Marrow Transplant in a few months.
She will have to travel 2 hours away from her family for treatment and rehabilitation and they are also fighting to have her parents stay in Melbourne to help raise her daughter Colette (3yo).
With Lawyer fees, Immigration fees, Travel costs, Time her husband will have to take off work and child care, it is all starting to add up. Not to mention the family debt they have starting up as a young family.
