Piper’s Cancer Fund

I write this with a heavy heart as I am asking for friends of Piper’s and dog lovers to help support Piper during his last weeks. He was diagnosed with Transitional Cell Carcinoma (TCC) on his bladder in May 2022. Piper is my 13 year old Redbone Coonhound that has been with me for the last 9 years. He is known for his happy howl and friendly smile that greets everyone in our neighborhood. He has been the best co-pilot for our long drives to see family in MN and a very important family member since I rescued him.

Our treatment options have changed and he is trying to live his last weeks with comfort. However this means lots of medication, supplies and hospice care.  All of these needs are just to bring him some comfort until he is ready. He was jumping around for food last night and howling with some neighbors both human and canine ones so his days are not over yet.

I am hoping to raise funds for his Hospice care and then donate the remainder of funds to Fetch A Cure which is an organization that supports humans and their dogs with cancer that cannot afford the treatments and care.
