Hurrican Ian destruction-Pat & Les Pickett

Donation protected
My name is Celia McNeil and my best friends parent's Pat & Les Pickett, survived Hurrian Ian, but not much that they owed did! They lived on Ft. Myers Beach and have been there for about 20 years. Pat is 83, and she is one of the strongest and most positive people I know. They stayed at their home during the hurrican and survived, but the devastation to their property and everywhere around them is unreal. My heart just aches for them and all of the heartache they are enduring. They have chosen to stay and try to salvage and clean up as much as they can and hopefully rebuild their place. They lost almost everything but are still praising God that it was not yet their time to go. My heart has been breaking for them, and since I can not get down to Fort Myers to help them, I feel like this is something I can do to at least help lift some of their financial burden and aid in the cleanup this way. CNN did an article on them right after the hurricane and I will attach it here because it explains their situation much better.https://www.cnn.com/2022/10/08/us/hurricane-ian-emily-lane-mobile-neighbors-damage
