Hurrican Relief & Repair funds
Donation protected
Those living in the U.S. Virgin Islands – particularly on Saint John or Saint Thomas – are still picking through the rubbles left behind but Hurricane Irma. Homes, hotels and roads were demolished overnight as Hurricane Irma ripped through the USVI. My mom roof was lifted off by the 175mph winds. The glass windows and doors were shattered by the wind during the storm. Most of the roof is gone, shattered glass is throughout the whole house and water is everywhere. The relief efforts is underway to remove rubbles, the uprooted trees and house roofs laying in the streets, but its a very long and dragge out process.
The funds will be used to help with the roof repairs expense and the some of the major household items ( refrigerator, stove, beds, ect..)
