Hurricane Dorian Freeport, Grand Bahama Survivors
Donation protected
My name is Tyrus Cartwright and I am from the Bahamas. I am an attorney practicing law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (MA BBO No. 693109). As you are aware, Hurricane Dorian has devastated my homeland, with the most damage done to the Abaco Islands and Grand Bahama. I am from Nassau, Bahamas but have lots of family and friends that reside on Grand Bahama Island. I am writing to solicit your prayers and charity for those that need it the most. As the storm is still hovering over the Northern Bahamas (particularly Grand Bahama), relief efforts have begun and I am reaching out to seek support from my friends and family.
Although I am asking for direct donations, I will provide a list of reputable alternative options for your convenience.
You can mail/ship/drop-off non-perishable Hurricane relief items to:

I plan on flying down to Freeport, Grand Bahama in about a week or two to assist with the clean up efforts and to take supplies. So I would like to take whatever donations are made by then and give to the most needy.
If you would like to make a direct donation to avoid processing fees, you can do so via CashApp $tyruscartwright, Venmo @Tyrus-Cartwright, or PayPal ()
Thank you in advance for your support and prayers and we will get through this tragedy together as a united world community.![](https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/41758444_1567532479619130_r.jpeg)
