Hurricane Harvey Relief for Bunny
Donation protected
Bernadine "Bunny" Schockmel just lost everything she owns due to flood damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. Her home of over 30 years, in Richwood, Texas, suffered extensive damage and is currently gutted and unlivable. She, like many others in the area, had no flood insurance. She is 80 years old, retired, and on a fixed income. She is looking at replacing all of her appliances, furniture, clothing, and having to do extensive renovations on her property to even make it livable again. She's always been willing to help out so many of us when we're in need. Please donate if you're able, every little bit helps.
A bit of background required by GoFundMe: This fund is being set up by Emily Schockmel-Althoff, Bunny's eldest granddaughter who lives in Arizona. Bunny is the sole beneficiary of this account. This money will go entirely to Bunny and be spent on repairing her property. She will need at the very least new flooring, doors, drywall, texture, paint, possibly electrical and plumbing work, a stove, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, a couch, a bed, and various other furniture, clothing, bed linens, towels, and more. She needs to repair her property and rebuild her life.
