Hurricane Help For Hines Family

When Ryan and I went to Jamaica we had the privilege of starting an unforgettable bond with Sheldon, a kind-hearted local. His story and family captured our hearts and we have kept communication going to stay in touch.

Once we heard about the hurricane, our thoughts and prayers were with Sheldon and his family. God answered our prayers and they were kept safe during the storm, but their home wasn’t. However, we are grateful that it provided shelter during the hurricane and kept them safe.

When we met him - his love for his family, home, and community was clear. As he guided us through the area it was clear that Sheldon was a loved member of his community.. always willing to lend a helping hand. It was truly a blessing to witness and again why our hearts were captured!

I am starting a go fund me for Sheldon and his family. Their home needs repairs, his boat needs repairs and since his job is on the waters he won’t be having an income for some time.

I’m hoping we as a community can truly make an impact for Sheldon’s family and I know he will use this to also help his local community ❤️
