Hurricane Ian Damage Assistance

Hi, my name is Brian. My brother Bret and his wife Laurie Plue live in Cape Coral, FL. Their residence is ground zero, where Hurricane Ian landed. As you likely know, Ian was just short of a CAT 5 hurricane and had pretty much destroyed everything in its path around Bret and Laurie. Thank goodness both are safe and ok. Their house is in better shape than most around them, but their property has sustained significant damage, which will be costly for repairs. The roof is mostly gone, and the inside suffered substantial water damage. The immediate challenge for them is to have financial means to get through the next 30 days or so for food, water, gas for the generator and transportation, as well as have cash on hand to pay contractors upfront to get repairs underway. It is very chaotic currently trying to get things moving forward with insurance agents, etc., given the amount of devastation. Electricity could be out for a month or so. There is no idea about when power might be restored. Bret and Laurie could use your help if you can give what you can to help them get through this hurdle financially in the coming 30-60 days with no paychecks coming in from work for the foreseeable future due to the damage shutting everything down in the city.
