Danielle is a loving single mom of two kids who lives in Port Charlotte, Florida. The home where they live was unfortunately damaged along with most of their belongings due to Hurricane Ian. The ceiling throughout the entire home has collapsed.Two people have went to check on the home and have informed Danielle that most things in the home are not salvageable. She has always provided stability for her family and a home for her children. Her and her mother have been renting the same home for several years. She took her children and mother on a family vacation to their hometown in Boston days before the hurricane hit. While we are thankful they were not in the home, what it will take to start over will be overwhelming. She will need to find a new home for her family to live, provide the essentials for herself and her family, along with all the other daily financial occurrences while waiting to permanently relocate. She will be temporary relocating with her bestfriend but will need to find a new permanent home for her family. You can imagine the immediate financial strain this may put someone in while also having to clean up the physical mess Hurricane Ian has left their belongings in. When she returns she will be helping the community with their insurance claims to help families like hers recover. She is not only worried about her family but others in the community as well. *My name is Heidi and I am Amanda’s older sister. Amanda and Danielle are best friends. Danielle has been apart of my family since she was 16 years old. I’ve also been working with Danielle for almost 5 years. I live in Ohio now, but work remotely with the same company. Heather her sister will be an admin with me and the funds will be sent directly to Danielle as the beneficiary. Our families have become family over time and I’m so thankful we have each other during times like these!
