Hurricane Ian Relief for The Freed Family
Donation protected
Our family moved to Fort Myers Beach for a better life 5 years ago, like we had dreamed of since moving to Florida. We fled to Fort Lauderdale when we got the evacuation notice for Hurricane Ian. When it was finally safe to see our home, we found everything destroyed and most of our belongings had disappeared. Our mom, Ana, is an ER nurse and our dad, Joe, works for the state as a restaurant inspector. They have found themselves needing to replace almost everything they have loved and cherished for many years. Us, their three sons, hope to help them get the funding they need to continue on after all of the destruction. Much of their savings had to go towards acquiring safe shelter in Fort Lauderdale for the whole family including two of their sons, their daughter-in-law, grandchild, and close family friend. Now, little remains to move forward. We are hoping these funds can be used to replace essential furniture and clothing as well as help them establish new, safe housing. Any amount will help our family recover together. We hope this can help them even a fraction as much as they have helped us!
