Hurricane Ian Supplies for Englewood Florida
Donation protected
My name is Jeff Harvey and I was born and raised in Englewood Florida. As everyone is aware, Hurricane Ian impacted the southwest Florida region with devastation that a lot of us cannot fully comprehend. Englewood/Rotonda is my hometown and the place I grew up for 25 years and still call home. Currently almost all of my family, (minus only a few) still live in that immediate area and are suffering like countless others from losses of their homes, and other implications from natural disasters such as no power, no running water, no gas and are in desperate need of other necessary items. I spoke to my father today and you could hear how scared he still
was in his voice, the trauma that he endured during this hurricane. He told me how they are being told power will not be restored for upwards of 4 weeks.
We are asking for donations to buy those necessary items to buy here in Dallas and drive to not only our family and friends but to hand out in the community. We will be buying gas cans, baby wipes, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, trash bags, gloves, tarps, gas, non-perishable foods, generators, power banks to charge cell phones. All the things that the community needs to get through these first couple of weeks. Any help is greatly appreciated and will make a huge impact on our hometown community. Thank you.
