Hurricanes 2017 IRG Response
Tax deductible
International Rescue Group's mission is disaster relief to remote islands and coastal areas. Hurricane Irma was the most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic with winds of over 160 mph for over 35 hours, and then Hurricane Maria came on its heels, another category 5 storm that commenced by devastating Dominica, the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Thousands of families lost everything. Their homes are destroyed, belongings blown away, no clean water or electricity available, and that is just the beginning.
They need our help! We will assist to build shelters, get drinking water, food and tools to build up their homes and deliver supplies to remote islands with our volunteer reserve fleet vessels.
IRG has already helped with many tons of relief cargo to Dominica on a 350-ton ocean-going tugboat - still running missions - but now our attention has to move to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Let's help together in these difficult circumstances.
Please donate generously. Every family, some with young children, babies and pets will highly appreciate your quick and generous effort, to stop them suffering.
Your donation will support their lives and give hope into their future! Please donate what you can, whether it's $5 or $500.
The key is your participation.
EMERGENCY CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS. Contact Captain Ray Thackeray via Facebook or the linked website and report to IRG Flagship in Hollywood FL. We have comfortable accommodations aboard our ship.
