Hurricane Irma in Immokalee

This began as a way for our family to raise money to help an elderly pastor and his wife repair their home. This Haitian pastor purchased a church from a Mennonite group years ago and was delighted to see us. His little church was flooded with water from the sewer system and his house roof leaked and their possessions are damp and smell of mildew. We have sealed his roof with tar, but his ceiling has fallen down. We'd like to help him with hanging sheetrock and replacing the insulation. The carpet in his church needs to be replaced but as of now he was going to just let it dry because he has no funds to replace it. We felt a nice spirit in this man and he only asked that we pray with him for help with his needs.
