Hurricane Recovery for Deanna, David & Janet

We lived in North Port for 15 years. My brother and mother live next door in Port Charlotte and my daughter, Lainey, lives in Ft. Myers. Many of our friends in North Port are flooded into their homes. Port Charlotte and Ft. Myers are just decimated.

It appears the homes of my mom, Gail, and brother David need repair but will be livable. However, the entire area is completely destroyed. Any of you that know David, and his significant other Janet, know they both have hearts of gold. They will do anything for anyone. Janet’s family is the same – always giving to the community and serving others. Tragically, Janet’s daughter Deanna, Nate, and their family lost their home and everything they own. They have four beautiful, sweet boys.

I never do this because I am always the one giving. It is not easy for me to receive or ask for help. But I am asking for Deanna, David, and their families to please consider giving a small amount to help them through this. I have seen the power of the love & kindness of strangers and I am hoping we can lift up Deanna, Nate, David, Janet, and their whole family and bring some small peace and comfort.

Please keep them and all of those devastated in your prayers. Thank you with all of my heart for your kind words, prayers, and support during this unfathomable tragedy.
