Hurricane relief Capt. John & Capt. Carolyn

Hello friends and customers!
Captain John & Captain Carolyn here form Beach Buddy Tours.
As you all know, ours and thousands of other people's lives changed when Hurricane Ian barreled through our community. By now, I am sure you have seen the news stories and horrific photos that show our world, homes and livelihoods wiped away by Ian's winds and massive storm surge.
Our hearts are aching over the loss of live and mass desctruction that we are surrounded by. We sustained minor damage to our vessels, boat lifts, home, and landscaping. We came within minutes of having our home flooded. When the storm was beating us relentlessly, we thought our house might be washed away if the storm surge did not stop soon and thankfully it did. We live on one of the most extensive canals in Cape Coral and that canal became a ragging river ripping boats from their lifts, sending debris of all kinds, crashing into the seawalls and then throwing items up into yards and into houses when the water overcame the seawalls. It was a terrifying day, but we are lucky to be alive.
We are so worried for our dolphin and manatee friends as well as all of the other wildlife and birds who may have parrished.
The amount of text messages and emails from our dear friends and clients has been astonishing, and we thank each one of you for that show of support and care! We have made so many amazing memorries with you and will miss you until we can get up and running again. It is heart breaking that our business is no longer a viable industry. Without resorts, hotels and vacation homes there will be no tourism. Until the area can be reapaird and rebuilt, which sadly will take many months and quite possibly years to return, we will need to try to figure out our next move.
Many have asked what they can do to help, and as much as we hate to ask for it, we do need it. That being said, your donations of any amount would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
