Hurricane Relief for Beloved Professor Jason Sears

Hurricane Helene took everything away from a lot of people, including my professor Jason Sears. Jason is a professor of Philosophy, Animal Studies and Environmental Studies at Eckerd College where he is beloved by hundreds of students and faculty. Jason has been the most influential professor/teacher of my (and many others) entire life, and has been my voice of reason and biggest champion of my college career.

Unfortunately, Jason and his wife lost just about everything in the hurricane- both cars, all their furniture, most belongings, and unfortunately their house. Hundreds of thousands of dollars gone. So I ask friends, families, and everyone in between to support Jason and his family in this trying time, and please donate anything you are willing and able to. Jason has given so much to so many over the years and changed the lives of countless students, and now he is in need of the same support.

Thank you for your support, thoughts, and consideration. This fund has been set up by Maddie Enman (a student of Jason’s), on behalf of Jason and his wife. All funds will be used to assist Jason and his family with all expenses incurred from the hurricane.
