Florida Beekeeper Hurricane Recovery Fund

Donation protected
FLORIDA BEEKEEPERS NEED YOUR HELP!! I am Tammy Sadler with Bee-Haven Honey Farm. This fund exists to aid the FSBA* (Florida State Beekeepers Assoc) in raising funds for Florida beekeepers who have suffered devastating hive losses. On September 26, Hurricane Helene swept up the gulf coast of our beautiful state and made landfall in the Big Bend area of N FL near Perry. Two weeks later on Oct 8/9, Hurricane Milton ripped across South Central FL. Thousands of hives have been washed away, flooded, and damaged. Honey houses and equipment losses are severe. Vegetation has been stripped bare, so bees are robbing and starving without supplementation. Brazilian Pepper trees are no exception, leaving many with another failed honey crop. Pollination contracts will go unfilled, resulting in reduced crop yield and shortages at the produce stand. This fund will be distributed to help replace and rebuild lost and damaged hives as quickly as possible. Our food supply depends on it! Please consider donating today!

*FSBA is the beneficiary of this fund.
