Provide Hurricane Relief to Humane Society of Tampa Bay

You might've heard about a particular dog on the news this week, braving Hurricane Milton in Tampa, FL alongside her owner Rick Mijares, founder and owner of American Social Bar & Kitchen. In the Spring of 2020, the Mijares family rescued Tally, then just a puppy, when they found her abandoned and alone during one of their walks along Bayshore Drive. Ever since, Tally has brought nothing but joy and comfort to the whole family. She has adopted the guardian role of her "humans" or "brother and sisters," eager to protect their home alongside her best friend Rick. This week was no different, and it is a reminder not only of the difference we can make in an animal's life, but the difference they can make in ours, as well.

We at American Social-sponsored by Tally Mijares-would like to donate to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, who urgently needs our help to care for animals impacted by the disaster. Many pets were displaced, shelters were damaged, and resources are stretched thin. ALL donations will go directly to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay to assist in providing critical support for shelter repairs, food, medical care, and transportation for animals in need. We aim to ensure that these animals receive the love and care they deserve during this challenging time in hopes of finding their forever homes, just as Tally has.
