Hurricane Relief for Mark Bosler

If you have ever had a friend that would give you the shirt off his back then you have had a friend like Mark. Now Mark needs friends like us to help him recover from the devastation Ian left. Mark has been a dear friend of mine for at least 20 years. Please consider helping Mark with the massive expenses he will have as he digs out from this distruction. I am one hour south of my home at a friend's home in south Naples. Power was just restored at this home yesterday. My home is unlivable. Thick heavy stinky mud coats the entire area.... yard and every floor throughout the house with a water line that is almost three feet high. It has destroyed all my new appliances, HVAC, furniture, clothes, vehicle, personal belongings, everything. I saved one vehicle, the one I fled the storm with.

My oldest brother who is the closest person to me is flying in tomorrow to help me.

I of course have filed a claim with my insurance and FEMA but both have said it will be 7 to 10 days before they can get back to me to see what an adjuster decides. It is going to be a fight with them. This was a hurricane not a flood. I only have hurricane insurance.

I need help.

With having to use a walker it is so difficult to even go through the thick mud to go through my house. I need to find out if there's some kind of fund set up for those that are disabled. You are right it's tough to ask for help and to put the pride down but I have tried now for almost a week to do this on my own and I Can't. I need government and friends' help.

It is hard to do, and I don't think she will mind, but now I am sharing this with you.

I moved down to Florida because it was physically better for my health.

I cry when I say this, but this was not my fault, to come down here and now go through this.
