Husband passed after learning she has cancer

Hello people, my name is Sarah and this is for my mom. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer that has gone into her lymph nodes and brain. A couple weeks ago, her husband passed suddenly in his sleep. While making plans for her own passing, this was completely unexpected. He was the sole income for their household, as she is unable to work due to the cancer.

And now the bills are rolling in...

Her grief and now stress is affecting her health and I don't know where else to turn.

My sister is doing all she can. I live halfway across the country. We need support to help her through this. Just enough until SSI and insurance kicks in. We've gone over bills and what we all pitch in. Estimated she'll need about 15000 more to cover home, food and medical expenses.
