Debbies husband was recently diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the prostate.

While this type of cancer has a very high cure rate, it is still cancer and requires much medical attention.

Debbie is a very giving person and shows that thru he passion for her project at work called "The Closet"

This is a place where needy students of Eisenhower High School in Blue Island can go if they need anything from hygiene products to clothing of all types.

She collects donations from various places to support this endeavor of hers.

She does this from her heart, and now she is facing a crisis of her own.
