Husband's Terrible car accident & loss of 2 dogs

Hello, my name is Mercedes Hulsey. My husband Christopher Hulsey was in a terrible car accident on Tuesday May 31st at 8 a.m. I found out he was in this accident when a paramedic answered his phone while I was calling. He was life flighted by helicopter to Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee with multiple injuries. The car was unrecognizable & our 3 Dogs were in the car with him. The 2 we've had the longest were deceased on the scene. I then made the 3 hour trip to the hospital. Upon arriving at the hospital he was in the trauma emergency room. I decovered he had the following injuries all mostly on the right side where the he was flung 120 feet in the air landing on the right side of the car into an embankment rolling the car back up the other side of the embankment almost up to the road. He was cut out of our Camaro Covertible when he had the top down. His injuries were as follows

*Right side eye socket fracture

* Fractures to the whole face 

* Fractures to the right side of the back of his skull

* Damaged Lung

*Loss of hearing from the right side ear w/ bleeding in the ear

*Now experiencing kidney/liver trouble with problems urinating

*Broken arm on both bones between the wrist & the elbow snapping them both in half with bones puncturing the skin

* Multiple Bruising & open wounds

 

He was in surgery yesterday for his arm where they had to place plates and screws in it to hold the bones back together & now are experiencing complications and restless nights....I was heartbroken upon decovering his condition, as well as dealing with the loss of our 2 beautiful babies which were left in the ditch to rot away after the accident & are now buried at peace at my grandparents house with the new puppy found but may need veterinarian attention once I'm back home. I'm a restaurant server st Longhorn Steakhouse in Blairsville, Georgia. My husband has already been out of work for 2 1/2 months due to need full left ankle replacement surgery but finding someone that covers his insurance has been difficult. With all this happening has been a major setback and I am having a terrible time being here at the hospital & not being at work. We have been here 3 days now with no talk of even being able to go home. Everytime I sleep, he doesn't eat, doesn't drink anything, and attempts to get up on his own to use the restroom & falling. There is no talk of when im going to be able to return to work. I've always handled everything on my own being prideful never asking for help, but a friend convinced me on starting this account to help with gas back and forth, food once we return and while we are here, bills (where I am the only provider), and any medical attention that insurance will not cover. Im heartbroken over this whole situation on top of taking care of my husband day and night...im dealing with the loss of our 2 Fur babies Diesel & Rebel. Like I said I never ask for help but im putting my pride aside knowing I cannot do this alone. Thank you for any help you may be able to provide for my family.

We were released from the hospital with me not having any medical care and I rushed him back to the emergency room discovered more injuries to his collar bone but mostly I took him back because of this

16 screws and a total of 43 stitches...I am now responsible for his at home care with absolutely no medical training. I feel he was released way to soon im a nervous wreck!
