New Husky Mascot Uniform
The Husky mascot has been damaged by time and flooding. Although the mascot still exists, it's in need of a deep cleaning and would require costly repairs to the lower jaw. It's sad to say, but the Husky mascot is totaled. It's time for a new one.
This fundraiser provides a new mascot for the students of Herbert Hoover High School in Clendenin, WV. The walkabout mascot whips up excitement at athletic events, student assemblies and other school pride events. We can't wait to see the new mascot at football & basketball games, quiz bowl, band festivals, cheerleading competitions, and especially the state softball championships.
A new Husky mascot can purchased by Dale Morton Studios (https://www.dalemortonstudio.com). Owned by Hoover Alumnus Dale Morton, this is the same company that created the previous Husky mascot costume. All costumes are custom handmade in West Virginia and are the highest quality on the market.
Husky Dawg Pound recently voted #1 student section in WV AA.
The students of Hoover may not have a physical building, but one would never know considering their spirit. These kids have faced adversity their entire high school years yet they continue to shine. The Dawg Pound has revived and is winning many school spirit awards. Let's give them everything they need to continue.
Thank you for your donation to this worthy cause. Any money raised in excess of the stated goal will be used to purchase themed shirts and props for the mascot. The students love when the Husky can be dressed up for different occasions. Bottom line is ALL money raised will be used in enhancing school pride.
