Hussey Twins

Caleb and Ashley had a very big scare a couple of days ago while on a vacation with their family in Mexico. Ashley is 20 weeks pregnant with 2 baby boys. One of the twins' sacs ruptured and they were transported by ambulance to the local hospital in Cabo. When they got there, the only option they were given, was to terminate the pregnancy due to infection. The doctors there claimed "they were afraid it would spread to the other babies and then to Ashley, and it was potentially fatal. To Caleb and Ashley, that was absolutely not an option. They then decided that they needed a medical plane to transfer them to the Women’s hospital in Houston. After several days of emotional roller coasters, they were then faced with the trouble of actually getting a medical plane to transfer them out of Mexico.

They finally gave it all to God and decided that they would have to find a way to be released from the hospital and then just fly on a commercial airline straight to Houston so they could be admitted into the Women's hospital. It was very scary for both of them as first time parents because of everything that the doctors were telling them at the hospital in Mexico.

Fast forward to today: They made it to Houston and are officially admitted into the Women’s hospital. The doctors have very high hopes for the babies! Caleb, Ashley, and the boys will be there until she delivers. The goal is to get them to at least 24 weeks, but if her body allows them to go further, they will let them bake as long as those sweet boys need. GOD IS SO GOOD!!

Caleb and Ashley have are sooo thankful to every single one of you that has texted and/or prayed for them. They know the prayers are working!

While they continue this journey to save their precious baby boy twins in the hospital, please keep the prayers coming!

Ashley works full time as a Dental Assistant, however; she will be hospitalized for at least 4 weeks...(hopefully longer, for her baby boys' sake!) so she will not be able to work.
