Hustle 2.0 at High Desert State Prison
Donation protected
Hustle 2.0 has officially kicked off at High Desert State Prison with 150 Mavericks (i.e., incarcerated program participants)! Through the curriculum, training, and tools provided by Hustle 2.0, Mavericks transform their lives and become a new and improved (or 2.0) version of themselves. The results: Mavericks maximize their potential and break generational legacies of poverty and incarceration; and reduced criminal behavior, violence, and recidivism improve public safety within our corrections systems and our communities.
At the recent High Desert event, we received pledges of more than $35,000 from generous volunteers to support the Mavericks continued training through the end of 2019, and we have set up this GoFundMe campaign to collect those donations. Each donation will receive a tax receipt through the charity All Things New Inc., which will pass on 100% of the funds, less the GoFundMe fees to the Pelican Bay Volunteer Alliance, the financial sponsor of the Hustle 2.0 program at High Desert State Prison. We are incredibly grateful to each and every person who has contributed to this important work. Please direct any questions to [email redacted].
