Huxley Christopher Shane, send off & support

Hi all! For those who don’t know me my name is Mikayla.

I’m the sister of Jayden and sister in law to Mel. On the 27th of April I had the privilege of becoming an Aunty once again to the little angel Huxley Christopher Shane Phillips.

Huxley was still born which means he came into this world sleeping.

In the excitement of welcoming a new baby into the world no one prepares or expects to have a loss quite like this.

I have seen, felt and heard so many people surrounding our family with love, compassion and kind words! Which are so appreciated as we find our way through this difficult time. In saying that, we have started to discover how costly this process is going to be and although no amount of money or dollar figure can show our love for the family we hope that this page can allow our friends, families and community to help ease the financial stress for Jayden and Mel whilst they mourn and grieve Huxley.

This money would go towards a funeral, bills that still need to be paid even in these difficult times, basic household expenses that would have been paid by Jayden’s usual wage and any ongoing medical bills that follow Mel in this post partum healing process. We also hope this money can allow Jayden to stay home with Mel to mourn as a family and it eases the pressure to return to work to keep the household afloat.

We have heard and seen so many people comment and say they wish they could help in some way during this time.. I feel as though this is one way that our friends, families and community can come together to show their love and support for Jayden and Mel.
