Kaila's Costa Rica Study Abroad

My name is Kaila Smart, I am currently a Bachelors of Science Student at Coastal Carolina University studying Exercise and Sports Science. I am passionate about studying medical sciences practices, and plan to demonstrate empathy and advocacy for all cultural backgrounds. I have recently been accepted to the Spanish Language and Culture Costa Rica study abroad program for May 2015. I would love to one day be fluent in Spanish, and this trip would be essential in learning the language because I believe submerging myself within the language will allow me to accelerate my learning. Besides contributing to my goal of fluency, studying abroad in Costa Rica will help me improve my communication skills and put me on the right track towards becoming the best care physician I can be.

I am using loans to afford school, so in order to go to Costa Rica I have to come up with the funds on my own. I need to raise a total of  $5,250.

January 15, 2015      $1,020.00(2nd payment towards program fees)
February 18, 2015    $1,020.00(3rd payment towards program fees)
May 7, 2015                 $1,155.00(Tuition fees)

The total amount also includes other expenses that are required for the trip.
