Help Nicole Beat Cancer

Hi, my name is Monica Stier and I am Nicole’s friend. We met while working at Cardinal Glennon on 3S and then a few years later, I transitioned to a nurse care manager role in the primary care setting. When an opening became available in the same role, I knew it had to be Nicole. Fast forward we still work in the Primary Care Health Home as nurse care managers as part-time employees sharing a panel of patients. We call ourselves Monicole.

On April 15, 2023 Nicole received her diagnosis of breast cancer while also being 23 weeks pregnant with baby #3. Since the diagnosis, Nicole has met with her OB and numerous specialists, had a port placed and started chemo, the first of many. She has already been showered with so many wonderful prayers, gifts, meals, and support. I know there are many friends, family, and supporters that are still wondering what they can do to help. Please consider donating to this fund to ease the burden of the many hospital bills not only for Nicole, but also baby #3. We are unsure of the extent of the hospital bills at this time and may not know for awhile. These funds will also help cover the lost wages once PTO is quickly depleted due to multiple doctors appointments each week, maternity leave, and recovery from surgery. My hope is that we can continue to raise funds so that this becomes one less stressor Nicole and Luke will have to worry about and that the main focus is beating cancer and making memories with their family.
