Help a family left with nothing after a house fire

Hello, my name is Charmaine. Last night, my grandson (a college student) at home for the holidays woke up to blazing heat in his bedroom in the basement and to his surprise the basement was on fire! He ran past the fire and up the stairs into his parent's bedroom, knowing they are hearing impaired, they would have never heard anything going on. As the house filled with smoke, he was able to guide them out of the house safely but was not able to save his mom's guide dog and two puppies. They were only able to escape in their pajamas with no shoes on their feet in 11-degree snowy weather.
