Medical fee

I am a 26-year old Mosotho lady. I got in a very bad car accident back in 2015 and despite all odds I managed to survive with bad femur and pelvic fractures along with a dislocated hip. I was admitted to Tshepong Hospital in Lesotho where they treated my femur fracture with metal pins  and transferred me to Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein in South Africa as the procedure was too complicated for them to handle. At Pelonomi Hospital I underwent further operations where  my pelvic fracture was treated with more metal pins.

I was told that I would be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life and this gave me a very tough time because my father passed away in 2010 and my mother is not well so she's not working and I am the only breadwinner in the family of five people. So, I had to go for physio-therapy up until I was able to use two crutches to aid  my  walking so I started hustling on the street selling  T-shirts to ensure family survival.

Currently I am a fellow with a program called in loco with a non -profit called Rise International. Last week on my return from work I had to consult a doctor due to extreme pain I was feeling in the pelvis and that is when we did the X-ray examination and discovered that the metal inserted in my pelvis is broken. So I have to go to India where the metal pins have to be removed, break the malunited fracture and perfectly align the bones again and I will be healed. The operation and in-hospital care costs R165,000  which is equivalent to about  $11,000 plus another R16,000 / $1,100 for around trip flight for two people.  

The doctors have advised that the sooner I get this operation done the better, otherwise I risk further bone fractures in my hip which would mean being wheelchair bound.
